COVID-19 Antibody Testing
The antibody testing for COVID-19 will determine whether a patient has ever had COVID-19. It is one of the most accurate tests on the market. This testing is a blood draw and results will be available in 3-4 days from the day of testing. Antibody testing is available at all locations.
Antibody tests are available by office visit only, and must be scheduled in advance.
When you arrive at the office location for your antibody test, call us to let us know you have arrived. Remain in the car until you are notified to come in – you will be screened before you are taken inside.

- This testing is available for patients without symptoms. Patients must be symptom-free for 14 days. A blood draw will be required and the results typically return within 3-4 days.

- This is the highest specificity testing on the market for IGG COVID antibody screening. This test has a specificity of 99.4%.

I have already been tested at an MEC location. Where are my results or when do I get my results back?
- You will receive a call or a text message once your results are in. Please call the clinic where you received your test for any questions regarding your test results. Some results have been delayed. Results typically take about 3-4 days to return.

Will my insurance cover this test?
- Insurance coverage varies on COVID-19 & antibody testing. Some insurances will cover this at 100% cost, while others may not. We advise you to call your insurance provider directly to verify coverage and costs.
If you choose to use your insurance, we will not be able to reduce to our same day pricing at a later point.

- Insurance copays and coverage varies. Your individual insurance will determine if there is a copay.
If there is a copay, we will collect this either at the time of the visit. If your insurance will cover 100% at a later point, copays that were charged or billed will get refunded.

- We cannot promise that your insurance will cover this because each insurance coverage varies. We will still collect all insurance information and copays where applicable. If your insurance will cover 100% of the testing at a later point, any copays that were billed will get refunded.

- We cannot guarantee that COVID-19 testing is free for anyone. We are not affiliated with any government agencies that allow us to test for free.
Note: Government run facilities may be able to offer testing at no-charge to patients; however, we do not know where these locations may be.
